The Research Exchange for Undergraduates (REU), hosted by the University of Montana:

Focuses on environmental chemistry;

Links students with top research mentors in their various fields;

Emphasizes the importance of communication via its journalism component;

Promotes learning outside the lab, with several excursions to local businessess and labs;
-
Celebrates diversity and exploration of all Montana has to offer.
About
This program is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is designed to give students a research experience in the chemical sciences. It is the aim of the NSF that this program will aide in inspiring young science students to pursue graduate degrees in the STEM fields.
Project
Our program will immediately involve incoming students with top research mentors in their respective fields. Our program is focused on environmental chemistry and is unique in the intercalation of a journalism writing experience. Students are immersed in hands-on projects while also learning how to communicate their research.

-Formal presentation experience
